Michael Kelly was one of the York Project team that in 2005 set out to identify the location where the American hero of 1918, Sergeant York, fought. He killed 21 and took 132 of the enemy prisoner. On this website you may read the story behind the man, the history of the engagement in the Argonne Forest France, and the detailed account of how over six years, the team gradually uncovered the incontrovertible evidence which proved they had found the York site. Visitors may also purchase the guide book that Michael wrote on American actions in this area during the Great War.
